Which materials are used in the ergomo® sensor?

The axis of the sensor is made of hardened special steel. The hull of the sensor is made of hardened aluminium. All made in Germany.

Why is the width of the 102 mm ergomo® sensor 107 mm?

The smallest possible width of axis at the moment is 107 mm. This is due to the necessity of measuring within the inner bearings. This version is compatible to 102 mm.

What has to be kept in mind while calibrating?

Please note  the K-factor (K, cal) (written on the sensor) before installation. The K factor needs to be programmed in the ergomo® pro computer followed by the offset. To do this the right crank is to be accelerated steadily. Best results can be achieved when the biggest chain ring is used in combination with the smallest sprocket.

Is the ergomo® sensor water proof?

Yes, it is 100% water proof! The sensor is water secured in several different ways and no moisture and/or dirt can get inside.
